Need a break from PON, FTTP, OCAP, HFC, ABC XYZ, Ps & Qs? Here’s something simple. Motorola is showing how to get caller ID on your TV screen at the Cable Show. You might laugh and think to yourself, why do I need that when I can grab my phone to see who’s calling? But just remember your scorn the next time you’re watching Lost and looking forlornly at the cordless phone ringing all the way across the room. Some folks said they would never use cell phone text messaging either…
