A quick note on other mobile news from yesterday before today’s Android news takes over. In addition to the new WiMAX products announced, Motorola launched its LTE Evolved Packet Core (EPC) solution, the WBC 700 portfolio. The important element here is that the WBC 700 completes Motorola’s “end-to-end” LTE solution. It’s the latest in a series of positive LTE announcements, including the recent Motorola deal with Japan’s KDDI, the new testing lab open in the UK, and the highly popular mobile demo drives shown in Las Vegas, Barcelona, and Sweden.
