Consider this your Friday dose of frivolity. Motorola and Verizon have worked together to introduce new skins for your FiOS set-tops. Silly? A bit. Fun? Absolutely.
Go to the Motorola Skinit page, and you can select custom decals with everything from artistic designs, to sports team logos, to Disney princesses. And yes, you can even create your own. If you’re really into the gadget decorating thing, there are holiday-themed skins as well. After all, Halloween is just around the corner.
Skins are available for your remote control too, and each runs $14.95. When you go to the Motorola Skinit page, select the picture and model number of the device you want to skin, and then have fun browsing through the designs. Stay tuned here in the coming weeks, and I might even have some freebie codes to give away.
