I’m about a week late in covering this, but the NCTA has announced that it will host a showcase at this year’s Cable Show called My World. Similar to last year’s Broadband Nation, My World will highlight cable technologies in virtual settings designed to feel like real-world environments. Motorola is one of many partners supporting the showcase, which will include demos on social TV, multi-platform TV, 3D TV, mobile broadband, and much more.
I was duly impressed by last year’s Broadband Nation, and look forward to the Hollywood backlot design of this year’s incarnation. Just in case you’re trying to remember what Broadband Nation looked like, I’ve included photos below. Look out in May for pics from the 2010 My World exhibit.

As long as your service provider is reliable then broadband should be a joy to use but if they are a bunch of hacks, then it will be expensive and not deliver on any of the promises made when you signed on for the service.
