While I have no official sources to cite, I heard recently that the Fancast Xfinity TV portal is doing “astonishingly well,” especially as measured by online viewers of short television clips. Know what seems to be particularly popular? Late night comedy. In the morning. As the morning news programs figured out a long time ago, many people don’t stay awake to watch Leno or The Daily Show, but that doesn’t meant they don’t want to hear the laugh lines. Looking for a dose of Jon Stewart with your morning coffee? If you’re online and on Xfinity, apparently you’re not alone.
