The SCTE Cable-Tec Expo kicks off in just over two weeks down in New Orleans, and having just booked my flight, I’m anxious to start prepping my event schedule. While the show floor is always fun, the workshop sessions are my favorite part of SCTE. This year Motorola speakers are participating in three sessions. Here’s a list of those sessions, plus a few more I’d like to cover, schedule permitting.
- Taking DOCSIS 3.0 Back to the Future: Optimizing Whole-Home Networking and Migrating to Higher-Speed Upstream- Speaker Dean Stoneback, Motorola
- Boundaries of Consumption for the Infinite Content World- Speaker: Rob Howald, Motorola
- A New Era Emerges: Now It’s Getting Personal- Speaker: Rob Howald, Motorola
- Understanding and Planning CMAP Network Design and Operations- Speaker: Jorge D. Salinger, Comcast Cable
- A Roadmap for Implementing 3D TV Over Current HFC Architecture- Speaker: Daniel E. Holden, Comcast Fellow, Comcast Media Center
- Switched Infinity: Supporting an Infinite HD Lineup with SDV- Speaker: John Civiletto, Cox Communications
