A few awards notices have crossed my inbox recently, including a note that the SecureMedia Encryptonite ONE solution has been named a finalist for the TelcoTV Vision Awards. The TelcoTV show starts up next week, and the third annual Vision Awards are being handed out by a range of executives and analysts from Light Reading, Heavy Reading, and the NTCA (National Telecommunications Cooperative Association). Encryptonite One is listed as one of three finalists in the Conditional Access category. Motorola and conditional access – it’s not just for cable anymore.
Also worth noting on the subject of awards, Motorola won two Technology Services awards recently: the TSIA Support Staff Excellence Center Award, and an individual award given to Motorola’s Mark Molloy for his “Bright Spot” story on using services as a brand differentiator.
