We’re excited to share that Motorola Mobility, Inc. and the Motorola Mobility Foundation have made a $250,000 donation to help support The Cable Center’s Cable Mavericks® program. Motorola will be the presenting sponsor of The Cable Center’s Cable Mavericks, which includes two initiatives designed to help students learn more about the cable industry: The Cable Mavericks Lecture Series; and the Cable Mavericks Masters Forum: One Day Degree in Cable.
The Cable Mavericks Lectures series, now in its sixth year, provides students around the country with an “insider” look at the cable industry, and the opportunity to interact with cable executives who deal in real-world situations.
The Cable Mavericks Masters Forum: One Day Degree in Cable will also include student competitions focused on the technology and creative aspects of the future of television. Jonathan Ruff, senior director of technology solutions product marketing for Motorola Mobility’s Applied Research Center, will also lead the organizational team for the technology contest.
We are honored to help foster these educational opportunities through the Cable Mavericks program! Learn more here.
