Last week, Motorola announced that South Korean operator LG U+ has selected and successfully deployed Motorola Mobility’s RX48 decoupled upstream module. Earlier this year, Motorola proved its state-of-the-art RX48 technology leadership by achieving a world record upstream speed of 356 Mbps in a live plant test executed with Cox Communications using the RX48 with its low noise, high dynamic range front technology, 256QAM, 85 Mhz mid-split and S-CDMA. Since then, Motorola has demonstrated upstream speeds of over 400 Mbps using the same configuration. More on the RX48 can be found here.
